Don't let your time to be wasted.
“I am the angel of death and I came to get you,” said the angel.
“But as you were kind, I will lend
you the Book of Destiny for five minutes. you may change what you want.”
The angel gave the man the book. As he was leafing through its pages,
the man began reading about the lives of his neighbors. And he got
discontented
“These people don’t deserve such nice things,”
he said. With the pen in hand, he began worsening the lives of each
one. Finally, he reached the page of his destiny.
He saw his tragic end, but as he prepared to change it, the book
disappeared. Five minutes had already passed. And right there, the
angel took the man’s soul
Fetch Another Sort of Doctor.
There was a powerful monarch called a holy father. everyone said he had healing powers to help him with his back ache.
"God will help us," said the holy man.
"But first let us understand the reason for these pains. I suggest Your Majesty confesses now, for confession makes men face up to their problems, and liberates much guilt."
Annoyed at having to think about so many problems, the king said:
"I do not wish to speak of these matters; I need someone who heals without asking questions."
The priest went off and returned half an hour later with another man.
"I believe that words can relieve pain, and help me to discover the right path to a cure," he said.
But you do not wish to talk, and I cannot help you. This is the man you need:
"My friend here is a veterinarian, and does not generally speak to his patients."
Shout.
A saint who was visiting a village found a couple on the road, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to the man who shouted and asked.
'Why do people shout in anger shout at each other?'
Man thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout.'
'But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell her what you have to say in a soft manner.' asked the saint
Man gave some other answers but none satisfied the woman.
Finally the saint explained, .
'When two people are angry at each other, their distance grow in their hearts a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.
What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small...'
The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.'
He looked at his wife and said.
'So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return. They may end up in divorce courts, for instance.'
I Know What Is Right.
A peasant was returning home. he saw a cow in the field.
"I’m not just a cow ,” said the animal. “I saw a god being born. I've
lived for more than two thousand years and I am alive to give this
testimony.”
The peasant didn't wait. He ran to the church and told it to the priest.
“Impossible”
he said.
The peasant took the priest by the hand and took him where the cow was.
The animal repeated everything it had said.
“I’ll say it again, cows don’t speak,”
said the priest.
“But you heard it!” the peasant insisted.
“How foolish you are! You’d rather believe in an cow than in a priest!”
Whatever the peasant heard is true. The priest didn't hear it because
he is not the one who had the opportunity to hear it. No matter what
anyone say, if you know what is right and true, go for it. Don't miss
your opportunity.
When he came out, he went away flying.
He could hardly walk. He was carrying an unseen burden.
His feet were heavy, as if there were a million passages clung to his
tired shoes. His heart was heavy, as if a million sinful thoughts were
stuffed into his intentions. His eyes were heavy, as if a million
repentant tears flooded the gates of his life. His hands were heavy,
as if holding a million-page book of decaying deeds. His head was
heavy, as if a million evil plans were stuck in his tomorrow. His lips
were heavy, as if a million complaints buzzed in silence.
With so much burden that slowed down his speed to redemption he
entered the sacred place.
God was waiting for him since long they talked.
When he came out, he went away flying
